The TA position works within the Hoffman Academy and assists the teacher during the day-to-day classroom routine.
The goal of this position is to help the classroom operate in an organized, efficient and safe manner.
Assistance with the supervision of the students is top priority.
Additional duties include the maintenance of student records and the implementation of behavior management programs.
The TA position follows the school calendar and is eligible for benefits.
Requirements:
Education, within the mental health field and/or experience working with children, is desired but not required.
Appropriate applicants must have a strong desire to help an at-risk group of children.
This position requires the ability to stay active, make good decisions within a busy environment and maintain a calm demeanor.
Additionally, this position requires strong ethics and accountability.
Must be able to complete clear and legible documentation.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
