Summary A Traffic Clerk is responsible for managing a variety of tasks related to traffic management.
This includes receiving/releasing orders, preparing paperwork, routing orders for LTL and T/L on time, and communicating with customers and sales.
Traffic Clerk Duties Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, and logging of outbound and inbound orders.
Checking documents for accuracy.
Direct communication with customers and sales.
Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping.
Process paperwork for inbound and outbound loads.
Ensure that all shipping and Receiving (BOL) documents are completed accurately and on time.
Compile and maintain records for inbound and outbound shipments.

Traffic Clerk Skills Accuracy and Attention to detail.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Communication.
Able to multitask.
Qualifications Highschool Diploma or equivalent Basic MS Excel and Outlook experience Verbal and written communication is required.
1 year of warehouse distribution experience is a plus.
ERP experience is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
