Manages operations at our Norristown, PA and Littlestown, PA sites in the production of attenuating material.
The role will include oversight of production, quality, sourcing, and R&D.
This role will also be the lead Engineer for both facilities and will be responsible for continuous improvement, maintenance and machine reliability, and facility maintenance.
Duties:
Departmental Develop and monitor KPI for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to the company's policies and standards and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
Develop and monitor process controls to increase FPY, reduce errors, and increase efficiencies.
Develop, as needed, and maintain machine reliability programs to increase machine uptime.
Assist with break-fix activities, as needed.
Oversee the schedule to maintain OTIF at >90% Work with procurement team to control inventory levels, reduce costs, and establish multiple sources of raw materials.
Oversee R&D activities in accordance with company strategy and direction.
Identify, launch, and monitor projects related to continuous improvement, new machine installation, quality control, and associated operational needs.
Establish a quality first culture.
Determine root causes of errors and develop associated corrective actions and effectiveness checks.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
Three years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position required.
3 years' experience in costing of labor and materials within BOM and routings required.
Extrusion experience a plus ISO 9001 or 13485 experience a plus 5
years working experience in a manufacturing environment with extensive experience in Production flow, 2 years in a leadership role.
Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, thorough, and customer focused.
Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.

Competent with computer software ERP systems, Microsoft Office Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
